If you're into punk rock, you owe it to yourself to check out www.shirtsforacure.com It's a website selling exclusive t-shirts from some awesome bands. The money goes...well, let's just copy & paste from their website for more info:
"The Syrentha J. Savio Endowment (SSE) was established by punk-rock photographer Mark Beemer in 2002. SSE provides financial assistance to underprivileged women who cannot afford expensive breast cancer medicine and therapy. The Shirts For A Cure Project (SFAC) was launched by SSE to give voice to the social concerns of punk bands and their many fans as well as to raise awareness about breast cancer prevention."
If you can support this awesome cause, please do. Fuck cancer.
Man, I've completely shit the bed on keeping this show updated. Sorry it's been so long, but I figured the two people who checked this site would be clamoring for SOMETHING.
Don't have a whole lot to add, we've sort of been on an unofficial hiatus, what with me working 19 days a week and Mike turning 25. But VIMT4 is still aroung, hopefully to have some stuff up soon.
In the meantime, I'd like to tease you with something: Einstein vs. Megaweapon. Coming soon!
You're still there? Okay, here's the deal: I was watching an episode of MST3K called Warrior of the Lost World, which featured, among other things, a supersonic computerized motorcycle named Einstein (highly annoying, BTW) and an awesome Killdozer ripoff called Megaweapon. I dozed off with the name Einstein vs. Megaweapon in my head and thought, what an awesome title for...something. I'm just not sure what. Sooooo....I thought I'd save it on the web for all to see, and maybe force myself to make something of it. I have the smallest germ of an idea as to what it would be, but I really want to hold myself to it. So watch this space, and hopefully by July I'll update the site again and have more info.
Currently, we're preparing to head out to Rifftrax Live! Hopefully, we are helping to put Mike Nelson forever in another tax bracket. In the meantime, though, we've prepared a new video from our Guide to a Better You series, entitled Sniffles and Sneezes! Enjoy, and stay healthy, America!
Thanks to anyone who came to the live show a few weeks back. We did a pretty decent set, a good time was had by all, and my goodness were we ever up past our bedtimes!
Anyway, keep watching this space: I'm working on a new video as we speak. Plus, you might just get to see my fatass fall from a very high place at a high rate of speed! Bet you don't wanna miss that!
So you see that Jim the Web Bitch has done some work on this here site! There's now a link to our Tweets as well as a new page for our videos!
We hope you peeped our new video, which is for one of the shorts we will be riffing live next Friday. We're working on getting the sound levels right, so hopefully the next video you'll actually be able to hear the film. If anyone has any advice on this, please drop us a line and let us now.
