There's an elitist punk rock music snob deep down inside of me that has this automatic, kneejerk reaction of abject hatred to any kind of "commercial" or "popular" music. For awhile, I was very "MTV IS TEH SUXX0RS" and "BACKSTREET BOYS?????? MORE LIKE BACKSTREET HOMOSEXUALS!!!! HI-FIVE!". Luckily, I've "mostly" outgrown that. The best I can put my music taste is that, as I once said to some friends, I used to like Journey ironically. Now, I just like Journey. Anyway, a few years back, when the whole "Mash-Up" thing first broke, my reaction was a predicable "How stupid and uncool, let me go listen to Made in NYC by the Casualties for the 938th time". Now, luckily, I've given up on the whole "cred" thing and appreciate how awesome some of these things can be. With that said: http://www.waxaudio.com.au/downloads/mashopolos "Whole Lotta Sabbath" and "Thunder Busters" are frigging awesome. I'm still trying to find the site where I got "MMMBop My Life" and "Stayin' Alive in Da Club", along with the Muppet Show Theme vs. Gay Bar, which may be the funniest thing I've ever heard. Anyway, give it a spin, it's rather amusing. Stay tuned for more from us. Hopefully we'll have another video up by the end of the year. And remember, if you've any Photoshop skills, email the pic from a couple posts below to

Greetings web visitor and a How do you do?good good...good to hear. Me? Oh I'm fine no complaints thanks for asking. Anywho I've come to you today because by law I am required to tell you I am a registered sex offe...huh what?...Movie Riffing? Ahh yes Movie Riffing it's awesome been doing it for years. Well mostly because one of the greatest shows on earth Mystery Science Theater 3000 has been such a big part of my life. I Remember ever since I was little every Sunday morning my Dad, My brother, and me would gather round the TV and put on Comedy Central or as it was named then the Comedy Channel and just laugh away our Sunday...until football came on. And the older I got the more I just loved the show and have followed it up until this very day.  The one thing about this show was it didn't have too many fans so when you would find someone else that actually knew about the show and got it...it was rare. And that's how I met the other Mike, Mick, Murtha...you know. Ah I remember it like it was yesterday...*doolley doolley wave dream sequence doolley doolley*. It was early on in freshman year of high school our religion teacher had asked us to play an oh so super fun game for everyone to try and get to know each other, and in the whole ruccuss of the complete bitter silence of people having to say what their favorite shows are, a young, quiet voice politely says "I like the show Mystery Science Theater 3000". "Yeah that shows awesome you're awesome" I say to him from 2 seats away, then lead to the response of look at me from the corner of his eye and silence. nice. Oh but later on that day we find ourselves sitting near each other at lunch. So I try again..."So you like MST3K?" to which his reply was "uhh Uuh yeah yeah...well he likes it too!" while he motions to his friend sitting next to him. But once we got the sexual tension out of the way it was clear sailing. And man having someone I can go back and forth with MST3K quotes really made my high school days really cool...yeah I said it.   So flash foward to today that bespectacled mousy kid and me have join our love of MST3K and our love of making fun of really any sort of image you put infront of us and just taking on the world of everyone taking themselves so seriously now-a-days! sooo whooohooo and I hope you can decifer any of this rambling mess. I love you! And I leave you with a couple pic riffs for your convenience.

Last Thursday, I was out with friends and the conversation turned to breakfast cereals, as it often does when I'm out with friends (Sweet merciful crap that may have been the most pathetic sentence I've ever typed). I had an idea for a motion picture. One that would surely be a smash hit, make untold millions of dollars, and possibly win an Oscar, or at least a Cable Ace Award. The idea? Cap'n Crunch: The Movie. Sean Penn IS Cap'n Crunch. Katie Holmes is the Woman he Loves. Ian McKellen and Michael Caine are the Soggies. If anyone could photshop this, I'd be the happiest little boy in the world...say, wait a minute...I've got a naughty idea! Submit your Photoshopped movie posters for Cap'n Crunch: The Movie, using the cast mentioned above. The best entries will be posted on the site, and a poll will determine the winner. The prize? The winning entrant can pick any YouTube video and Farley and I will riff it silly. I realize it's not much of a prize, but we're broke, dude. Lay off. Submit your entries to

Welcome, one and all, to the brand new Very Incredible Movie Theater 4 dot com! This is your source for news about our hysterically hilarious commentaries, and our awesomely outrageous live performances. “Live performances?” you may be asking yourself if you’re at all familiar with our 3 YouTube trailers for our Godfather commentary, or my incessant Facebook whoring of this project. “How in the hell does this dog shit lend itself to a live show?” Well, I’ll be honest with you: we’re not entirely sure yet. But lets all find out together, won’t we? |
